I sort of came into this fandom late in the game --I was in high school before I even saw "Advent Children"! Still, I believe that this cast of characters are some of the best ones ever dreamed up by those awesome folks at Square Enix.
What I love about Final Fantasy VII is how loyal the fans are. The following is still growing today, but there are people out there who have been writing fan-fiction since the first game came out!

Square Enix may own the characters, but I like to play with them from time to time in these alternate universes!
The pairing I selected to focus on for a challenge come from here!
Don't forget to check out the fan-fictions written by SinsofMidnight for SinsofMidnight's Writer's Challenge!
While I do love my AUs (and I do!), I frequently dabble in Final Fantasy VII with stand alone stories, as well!
- Stolen Kisses Universe which centers around a very particular Christmas party held at ShinRa.
- Drinking Universe which centers around Cloud and what happens to him when he drinks.
- Heaven Universe which centers around a classy club called Heaven and the men who dance there.
Now includes "Heaven's Only Haven".

- Grammar
(Reno/Tseng)
Reno goes to a bar after an ordinary day at the office and overhears something Elena says. Hilarity ensues, and he challenges her. Tseng's the test subject. - Hungover
(Reno/Tseng)
Reno has certainly had it rough: celibate for three months, dragged to BDSM clubs on a nightly basis, and dealing with a bitchy blond. One night with a hell of a lot of alcohol has made it much, much worse. - Indecent Games
(Sephiroth/Cloud Strife)
Seph and Cloud are roommates in college. One day, they're both bored, so they start a particularly raunchy game of Scrabble. - Just A Dream
(Cloud Strife/Zack Fair)
Cloud's only happiness seems to be in his dreams. - Playing Games
(Sephiroth/Cloud Strife)
Sephiroth likes his little games; Cloud is still trying to convince himself that he doesn't like them. - Possession
(Cid Highwind/Vincent Valentine)
Vincent just got out of prison for possession, and Cid takes him in. - Rubber Bands, Super Glue, and Bullet Holes
(Reno/Tseng)
Reno made things ever the more lively in the office, but when he comes in one morning hurt, refuses to tell them how it happened, and demands that they don't tell Tseng, his coworkers are, well, concerned. How did he get hurt and what do his injuries have to do with the new rule memo on everyone's desks? - Taken For Granted
(Tseng/Shera)
Shera's been with Cid so long he takes her for granted. When Tseng shows up in Rocket Town, the situation gets... complicated. - The Crying Phoenix
(Rufus Shinra/Rude)
Rufus is taking a trip to Costa del Sol, and Rude is assigned to accompany him. - This Weakness in Me
(Sephiroth/OC [Miki Ito])
Miki Ito is a SOLDIER, Second Class, but Sephiroth has taken a special interest in her. She's the first person to ever compliment the brooding man and he finds himself wanting more than Miki's body. - Trauma
(Reno/Tseng)
When an unexpected trauma emotionally cripples Reno, he refuses to let anyone but Tseng touch him. Tseng is terrified of this side of the man who always took so much joy in life, and Tseng is willing to do whatever it takes to fix Reno.
